Jeffrey Biegel

Artist Series: Jeffrey Biegel - Classical Carols (PD/CD 9011) is available in PianoDisc's Music Store now.  The new acoustic (piano-only) disc combines well-known classical piano themes with Christmas carols.  The arrangements are by Carolyne Taylor and the pianist is Artist Series favorite, Jeffrey Biegel, whose tribute to Josh Groban is one of PianoDisc's top sellers.

PianoDisc's Director of Music, Jan Glazier, recalls how the disc came to be recorded: "A couple of years ago a PianoDisc customer called to tell me about some beautiful Christmas music she'd heard.  She said it was exquisite and unlike anything we had in our library. She was so passionate about it that I ordered the sheet music and sent it off to Jeffrey Biegel for his evaluation.  He was thrilled with it and agreed to record it for us. 

"Jeffrey gives these beautiful arrangements the master's touch and I know everyone will enjoy his finely crafted performance. They will also love how cleverly and beautifully the classical themes and the carols are interwoven.
